Plants

The complexity of plant communities can be astonishing. There are three main types of plants found in almost all rangelands, from grasses to trees. A wide variety of species belong to each of these types. Many species may be found only in a particular plant community of a specific ecoregion, or is rather common in a different environments. Each species are categorized into one of the following plant types, and can be found in the linked pages below.
